What’s New at Specialty Growers? Last fall, we created a new Peony
Display Garden! Peonies are gaining in popularity, so we wanted to
provide our customers with an opportunity to compare many peony
varieties side by side. Because this garden is very young, we don’t
expect all of the peonies to bloom this spring, but its position in full
sun and compost-enriched soil ensure that the plants will grow well and
fill out quickly. We know it will be both rewarding and educational as
the years go by. We’re Different We know that you’ll enjoy a unique shopping experience at Specialty Growers. You’ll find display gardens featuring Perennials, Hostas, Ornamental Grasses and Shade Plants. We hope these gardens will help you gather ideas for your own gardens. Our plants are all grown right here, not shipped in from other areas, and because we grow our plants outdoors under natural conditions, they adapt and establish better in the garden. The nursery is laid out in a naturalistic style, utilizing various microclimates to grow the plants that are best suited to those conditions. Stroll through each section of the nursery -- you’re bound to find some unexpected treasures!
Our dedicated staff members are experienced gardeners and horticulturists. We pride ourselves on our customer service and level of expertise. We are committed to providing you with reliable gardening advice and top-quality plants. Please feel free to ask us for suggestions and information while shopping.
